[MSO=xx.x]
|
2. Workload levels |
|
WKL=(xxx,xxx [,xxx])
|
3. Performance objectives |
|
OBJ=xx, SRV=(xx [, .

|
4. Domains |
|
DMN=xxx,CNSTR=(xxx,xxx,xxx)
|
5. Performance groups |

Parameters
Keyword |
Meaning |
Value
Range |
Default
Value |
APG |
Specifies the
dispatching priority within the APG range that will be assigned to
a transaction. The APG is divided into three distinct
groups:
-
Mean-time-to
wait 0 - 6
-
Rotate
11

6 |
CNSTR |
Specifies the
constraints of a domain, that is , the minimum MPL, the maximum
MPL, and the weighting factor, respectively. All three must
be specified. The value ranges for each are:
-
minimum MPL
0-255
-
maximum MPL
0-255
-
weighting
factor 1-255

CPU |
Indicates the number by
which accumulated CPU service units will be multiplied.

DMN |
Specifies a unique
number that is used to associate a domain with a transaction.
|
1-128 |
|
DUR |
Specifies the length of the performance group
period in units indicated by the UNT keyword. |
0-999999999
or
0-999999K |

Indicates the number by
which accumulated I/O service units will be multiplied.
|

The interval service value specifies the minimum
number of service units that a transaction should receive during
each interval of real storage occupancy. |

number that associates the performance objective with a particular
period in the processing of a transaction.
|
1-64 |

PGN |
Specifies a unique
identifier for a performance group definition. This number
is used to associate a job, job step or time-sharing session with
the respective performance group.

UNT |
Specifies the units for
the DUR parameter. "S" indicates service units,
"R" indicates real time in seconds.
|
S,R |
S |
WKL |
Specifies a series of
positive number of increasing value. They provide a
reference for defining performance objectives. There can be
up to 32 numbers in any workload level specification.
|
1-128 |
none |
CPU |
Specifies the weighting
factor by which the recommendation of the CPU load adjusting
function is to be multiplied, when an address space is evaluated
for swapping.

IOC |
Specifies the weighting
factor by which the recommendation of the I/O load adjusting
function is to be multiplied, when an address space is evaluated
for swapping.
|
0.0-9.9 |
0.1 |
